Approximately 242 000
tonnes of salt are stored on
the stockpile at
Koolyanobbing.

The salt is transported by
truck to the rail siding, from
which it is transported to
Fremantle.

The bottom left photograph
shows a tarpaulin protecting
salt from the elements.
