Salt Lake
As the salt lake dries after Winter rain, salt is deposited on the surface.

Grading
The surface of the salt lake is graded into rows ready for harvesting.

Harvesting
A harvester picks up the salt and deposits it in a truck.

Stockpile
Throughout the harvest season, salt is added to the stockpile.

Processing
Esperance lake salt is kiln dried and crushed.

Product
Salt is bagged at Esperance. This Esperance salt is distributed throughout South-West W.A. as well as being brought to the Fremantle site for distribution in the Perth metropolitan area.
